When I grow up, I want to be the person that interrupts conversations to explain to people that the communication device in their hands that they are using is alienating us from one another.
And when I get old, I will tell everyone that the social media platforms I have used to keep in touch with the people that have long drifted out of my orbit, but remain interesting and engaging individuals, has been a big waste of time because in the olden days people lived shorter worked longer knew less but were, for some unspecified reason, more Whole.
And when I die, my casual antagonism toward modernity that inspired me to recycle and made me feel guilty about owning a car will stand forever as a testament to my character and will serve as an example to future generations.
